Damn, I was doing a good job of keeping these notices on schedule.
Ehem, anyhow. After writing nonstop for several weeks, I decided to give that a rest and begin some proper housekeeping on a great deal of code that I’m only mostly sure works. It’s actually kind of exciting to hit the compile button and see how all those pages of writing and code turn into an actual game.
The game is mostly done by now, barring the ending. That’s not something I want to knock out in a rush, being the conclusion and all, so I’m being extra careful about sketching up exactly how this is going to go and the possible permutations. Meanwhile, I’ll keep working on playtesting and smoothing over miscellaneous typos and bits of faulty code. Let’s see if I can make it so I don’t get like a dozen multi-page e-mails worth of (non-repeated) typos during beta testing THIS time around.
